First Coast Mortgage Funds loan officer, Michelle Carn, loves a challenge: “One of the major reasons I got into the mortgage industry was because I love solving the puzzle for buyers. Whenever a complex loan situation presents itself, I truly enjoy finding a way to make the numbers and product work to help a buyer land their dream home!” Michelle, a Jacksonville native who studied business at UNF, has been in the mortgage industry since 2012. She has served more than 1,000 customers, working on virtually every type of home loan, from refinance and renovation to new construction and resale home financing. Michelle was attracted to First Coast Mortgage Funding due in part to it being locally owned and operated to serve clients in Northeast Florida, but more importantly, because of the numerous products and lower rate options available as a broker vs direct lender. She knew becoming a broker would serve her clients’ needs best.
Michelle lives in St. Johns with her husbands, 2 daughters, 3 dogs, and 3 cats. Her active family loves the water, and she spends most her time boating with them when she isn’t helping clients achieve their dreams. “I love to offer all types of financing options to my customers,” Michelle says. “My commitment is to always go the extra mile for my customers, and I am well-versed in finding out of -the-box solutions that help aspiring homeowners.
